Are your coffee beans from the Golden Triangle?
Yes. The Golden Triangle in Southeast Asia is a roughly triangular-shaped area that is formed by the borders of Myanmar (also known as Burma), Laos, and Thailand. The region is named after the fact that it was once a major source of opium, which was a valuable cash crop for many farmers in the area. Our coffee sourced from Shan State, which is the Myanmar part of the triangle.
